Funding & support

In addition to publishing innovative scholarship, CEHS supports research into and teaching about Central Europe’s history through a range of programs and funding opportunities. While certain programs target students and early career scholars and teachers, others are aimed at the broader Central European historical community, both in North America and around the world.

Among the programs currently offered are short-term research and travel grants and organizational support and funding assistance for participation at the American Historical Association’s annual meeting. New programs to be launched soon include archival information sessions, a syllabus databank, and an online workshop series. learn more
